One thing I’ve always liked about Matt Gaetz is that he isn’t afraid to speak his mind, even when it goes against the Republican tide.
Today he defended Rep. Paul Gosar on the House floor after Democrats ridiculously accused him of fantasizing about killing AOC:
Gaetz noted that the anime video is not real and said “What is real is the crisis on our border, the inflation crushing American families, unvetted Afghans in our country. And what is definitely real is the violence that burned our cities and harmed our businesses in the summer of 2020, often encouraged by Democrats in Congress.”
What a great point.
Gaetz also said “In the last session week we had, we reviewed Steve Bannon’s podcast. Today, we’re critiquing Paul Gosar’s anime. Next week, we might be indicting Wile E. Coyote for an explosive ordinance against the Roadrunner.”
