WATCH: Nancy Pelosi dismisses Tara Reade allegations when asked about them on CNN

Nancy Pelosi was on CNN this morning and was asked directly about the sexual assault allegations made by Tara Reade against Joe Biden:

At first Pelosi claims that Biden has responded, saying “I do support Joe Biden, I’m satisfied with how he’s responded.” But CNN host Alisyn Camerota quickly counters that only Biden’s campaign has responded, that Biden himself has been silent.

Pelosi responds dismissively saying “You know it’s a matter he has to deal with.” Realizing she’s backed herself into a corner, she then claims that she’s impressed that nobody from his old senate staff says they ever heard anything about these allegations.

Pelosi then reveals why she’s so dismissive of these allegations, saying “But again, we have an important election at hand, one that I think is one of the most important ones that we’ve had. We say that every election, but I think this one is the most crucial.” And there you have it. That’s why Pelosi, who claims to be all about the #MeToo movement, doesn’t give a rat’s ass about Tara Reade or her accusations. She only cares about beating Trump, that’s it.
