A few minutes ago in the White House, Peter Alexander from NBC News tried to corner Trump by asking him what he’s learned from impeachment:
Reporter: "What lesson did you learn from impeachment?"
Trump: "That the Democrats are crooked. They've got a lot of crooked things going" pic.twitter.com/KiCuK94iss

Alexander framed the question by using Republicans like Lisa Murkowski who said Trump should have never asked Zelinsky to investigate Biden. But despite his effort to get Trump to admit that he’d done something wrong, Trump turns the tables on him:
That the Democrats are crooked. They’ve got a lot of crooked things going. That they’re vicious. That they shouldn’t have brought impeachment. And that my poll numbers are 10 points higher because of fake news like NBC, which reports the news very inaccurately – probably more inaccurately than CNN if that’s possible. MSDNC…and if you take a look at NBC I think they’re among the most dishonest reporters of the news.
BOOM! I gotta say that Peter Alexander walked right into that one. If he doesn’t know Trump well enough by now to know that he’s not going be manipulated into admitting fault when he believes there is none, then Alexander should just quit reporting the news altogether.
