Ok I about fell out of my chair when I heard that. Wow. Of all the things to say on-air….
For those of you who can’t watch the video, she said to her co-anchor, after watching the young gorilla get up close and personal to the camera: “Kind of looks like you when you take a picture.”
Her co=anchor replied: “He kind of does, actually, yeah.”
As I mentioned in the title, the next day she profusely apologized on-air for that comment:
I suspect she didn’t mean anything horrible by it with the way she phrased it. But still, you gotta be better at thinking on your feet in this day and age because people will go bananas over stuff like this.
I wouldn’t surprise me if she ends up getting fired because people just won’t let this go.
