On The View today Newt Gingrich made clear that he thought Trump’s idea of holding the G7 at his own resort was a dumb idea:
Newt said:
“This is what I don’t understand about the president. This was just a dumb idea. Don’t try to defend it. The idea that you could say “oh hi, we’re going to have a meeting of seven major countries on my golf course” and not have everyone else in the country go “what!?”
When addressing Trump’s use of the word ‘lynching’ this morning, Newt was far more empathetic of Trump:
The moment Newt brings up Hillary, to make the point of the collusion that did happen in defense of Trump’s dealing with Ukraine, Newt gets shut down and accused of trying to spin.
What a pathetic bunch of women.
