WATCH: Palestine resident asks the one question on everyone’s mind…

Last night officials in Palestine held a town hall to address community concerns about the toxic train derailment.

While addressing this, one resident asked a question that is one everyone’s mind: Where is Pete Buttigieg?

Watch:

The mayor responded “your guess is as good as me”, and pointed out that yesterday was the first time he’s heard from anyone at the White House.

We reported yesterday that Buttigieg finally spoke out on Twitter, but he quickly blamed the Trump administration for the crash. He’s not been seen anywhere in Palestine as of last night – I guess a few tweets on Twitter is as much as he’s going to involve himself in this crisis.

During the town hall, one official explained to residents that the evacuation codes had been determined by the DOT based on previous incidents. The crowd was not pleased with that answer:

Buttigieg runs the DOT and should have been the one there answering questions about this. But he can’t be bothered to care about a toxic train derailment in a mostly White area.
