WATCH: Paul Ryan hits back at the liberal propaganda about the new tax bill

Paul Ryan did interviews this morning with the major networks after the tax bill basically passed the House and Senate yesterday and of course he was hit with a lot of liberal propaganda about the bill. But honestly, it made for more interesting interviews in that he was able to refute much of this and point out that the American public will change their mind about it once they start feeling the effects of the bill in their paychecks.

I think every interview starts out with the characterization that this is just a big giveaway to corporations. But Ryan explains over and over that we were taxing corporations at one of the highest rates in the world, and this corporate tax cut makes us more competitive which will bring back jobs and money to the US, increase investment into business, and increase wages.

He also explains that many are going to see an increase in their paychecks in February when the withholding tables change, which means they will see their tax cut immediately.

One thing he addresses in most of the interviews is that tax reform isn’t enough, that they definitely need entitlement and spending reform as well. He assures us that he’s going to work on that in 2018. Let’s hope it goes better than the Obamacare repeal did in 2017.
