McConnell called out Nancy Pelosi this morning on her continued delay, suggesting she and Democrats are too embarrassed to send over the impeachment articles:
McConnell essentially put Pelosi on a clock, saying if she didn’t send the articles soon soon the Senate would move on to do the business of the people, assuming thusly that she and Democrats are just too embarrassed.
Pelosi, who maintains she’s very proud her impeachment articles, was actually asked by a reporter today if she was going to hold them indefinitely:
Pelosi responded saying no, “I’ll send them over when I’m ready.” She quickly added on to that, however, “and that will probably be soon”.
Graham was right last night, the Pelosi dam is breaking because she knows continuing to hold them is both damaging her cause and aggravating her party.
