MAJOR UPDATE BELOW…
The disgusting James Clyburn from South Carolina said on CNN this morning that the Senate should give Trump “a fair trial and hang him”:
It comes about 24 seconds into the clip and the CNN host just completely let’s Clyburn get away with it.
If this had ever been said about Obama by any Republican, the host would have stopped the interview right there in its tracks.
And notice what else Clyburn says in the interview, that he’d withhold articles of impeachment from the Senate indefinitely if McConnell didn’t do what they wanted. These Democrats are a joke.
MAJOR UPDATE: Apparently there are some who are saying that this isn’t what Clyburn was saying on CNN:
Rep Clyburn didn’t say “hang Trump” he said it was the reverse of that
Not hard to check for context y’all
Don’t be CNN

As I wrote in the comments, it’s harder than Posobiec makes it sound. I’ve listened to it many times, both before and after I posted it, and it’s still not clear to me. But I’ll defer to some who can apparently understand him better than I can:
That's not what happened. Clyburn was making the point that he doesn't think McConnell will run a fair trial because of the comments he's made. Clyburn compared it to someone saying ahead of a trial, "Let's give him a trial and hang him." He said it's like "the reverse of that." https://t.co/SCg6ovGllx

Also this comment from our own IamPETA:
I did watch it closely, and drug it back several times to make sure I heard correctly.
Those people are correct. He is very clumsily saying it’s the reverse of the old west meme “give him a fair (but speedy) trial and hang him”, but instead they (Democrats) are willing to wait this out, forever if necessary.
However, its very very hard to hear that, because he’s mumbling and says it quickly…
So there you have it. We were mistaken, but it wasn’t intentional. We do care about facts here which is why we are updating this post to clarify it.
