Los Angeles police are refusing to enforce California’s latest anti-ICE stunt — a Democrat law so reckless it would pit armed local cops against armed federal agents.
The LAPD says no thanks, with a side of eyeroll at how dumb this idea is.

That’s the local news report from yesterday, here is a clip from the presser with some of the exact comments Chief McDonnell made.
You can tell the chief — who frequently says lefty sounding b.s. btw — you can hear that he’s holding back his urge to say this was a completely asinine idea. He says it “doesn’t make sense” and that it “Wasn’t well thought out.”
The law was signed by Newsom in January and was obviously designed to bring operations to a halt and to put ICE agents at risk. What Democrats want and endorse is for people to attack and harm federal agents. They are for it. They are working to make it happen. But you can bet cops all over the country — even in California — will be refusing to play along.
Also I thought it was interesting that the reporter pointed out the chief’s explanation that emergency calls have not diminished despite left wing fear-mongering that enforcing the law would mean people were afraid to call the police. Nope again.
