This morning President Trump was asked if the US supports the Iranian protesters, and his quick answer was ‘no’ we don’t:
Reporter: Does the US support the protesters in Iran?
President Trump: "I don't want to comment on that, but the answer is no. But I don't want to comment on that." pic.twitter.com/dF6wQgXtWi

That stood in contrast to Secretary Pompeo’s remarks that the US does support the Iranian protesters.
In the last few minutes, Trump has corrected his earlier statement, saying that the US does support the protesters and he originally answered ‘no’ because he thought the question was about financial support:
Pres quick to correct statement he made earlier that the US doesn't support the protestors in Iran. He said he misunderstood and thought the question meant financially. "We support the protestors in Iran," he said. Earlier urged press to report on killing of protestors in Iran. pic.twitter.com/If64N3Yp7y

Below is the video of his actual comments:
President Trump clarifies support for Iran protesters: "We do support them totally. And have supported them from the beginning. The question was asked do we support them I thought financially, and we haven't…I don't know that we have been asked to support them financially." pic.twitter.com/oj4YGiEAyz
