Democrat Brad Sherman got schooled by President Trump on live TV just a few moments ago at the roundtable event over the Los Angeles wildfires.
Sherman spoke up to defend FEMA after Trump suggested earlier today that he was either going to overhaul the disaster relief organization or get rid of it altogether.
Sherman suggested that some states couldn’t get enough people to do the job of disaster relief. But Trump disagreed and pointed out that California has plenty of people and schooled him on how FEMA is a disaster and that the states could make this work.
JUST IN: “FEMA has done a good job for us here. They have a huge center thats open from 9 in the morning til 8 at night.” — @BradSherman

Trump also took Sherman to task on California’s policies on insurance, telling him that it’s people who think like him that have caused insurance companies to leave his state.
It was awesome to see on Live TV:
President Trump SLAMS California Rep. Brad Sherman: "You did something Brad where every insurance company in the country left California. That's why you have no insurance… people that think like you made it so impossible." pic.twitter.com/xWB7mHgQUA
