There’s a clip going around from one of President Trump’s rallies in 2020 where he predicted exactly what we are seeing with gas prices right now:
Trump said: “If Biden got in you’d be paying $7, $8, $9 and then they’d say get rid of your car…”
The clip goes on to show that gas prices are exactly where Trump said they would be, already over $7 a gallon at some gas stations in Los Angeles. The way things are going, give it another month and that might be the national average.
Senator Rubio said today that what Biden should do, now that he’s putting a ban on Russian oil, is to ramp up production in Texas:

He said we could easily and quickly ramp up our own production to 200k barrels a day instead of trying to get it from socialist countries like Venezuela, who can’t even produce that much.
Cruz told something similar and much more pointed to Fox News today:
“They could solve it themselves, and I have recently introduced legislation that would restore American energy independence,” Cruz said. “Instead of taking those options, they want to purchase oil from places like Iran and Venezuela.”
“They would rather fund terrorism and the worst regimes on the planet,” Cruz continued. “It’s appalling.”
He’s right. For some reason Democratas love to fund terrorism. We saw it with the Obama administration and now we are seeing it again with Biden.
I’m not oil and gas expert but if what Rubio says is exactly right, then there’s no reason why we can’t get the oil and gas here. But it goes against their disastrous agenda for Climate Change and that’s why they refuse to do it.
I don’t care how you look at it, nearly all of this can be blamed directly on the Biden administration.
