Senator Rand Paul held a presser moments ago after the news broke of the declassified Obama officials, including Joe Biden, were in on the unmasking of General Flynn.

One thing I’d like to highlight from this is that Paul was asked what is the most likely scenario as to why these names are on the list. Paul said the way he reads it is that “it looks like each of the administration officials actually, individually, requested to listen in on this conversation.” Paul said he believes each one of the people on the list listened to Flynn’s conversation, as opposed to having one person listen in and pass a transcript around.
He then went on to say “this is Vice President Biden using the spying powers of the United States to go after a political opponent. He’s caught red-handed here! Vice President Joe Biden is caught red-handed eavesdropping on a political opponent’s phone calls. That to me is alarming.”
Paul told reporters that each of them needs to ask Joe Biden “what kind of person eavesdrops? Is that something that we think is a legitimate function of government, to eavesdrop on your opponents without a warrant, to illegally unmask them and listen to their private conversation?”
