WATCH: Rep. Dan Crenshaw tries to trip “miscreant” reporters when going up steps

Several ‘independent’ reporters were following Rep. Dan Crenshaw today asking him questions about the speaker race and Ukraine funding.

Crenshaw clearly became annoyed with them, calling them ‘miscreants’ and told them they should get a job. Then right before they go up the stairs, Crenshaw lunges at one of them who was walking backwards and nearly trips him.

Here’s that incident by itself:

It took me a few times but I finally saw Crenshaw intentionally lunge at the one guy with the camera phone. Of course they screamed ‘assault’ but I don’t know if they are pressing charges. Other than the attempted trip, there was no injury.

These guys were annoying and they were certainly insulting Crenshaw as well. But they don’t deserve to be tripped just because he doesn’t like them.
