The media is aiming all their guns at Governor Ron DeSantis for not allowing schools to mandate masks in the state of Florida. Here’s one reporter who tried to corner DeSantis on masks for kids but he ended up turning it around and destroying her.

This reporter is asking DeSantis about children who are in the hospital with COVID, saying two are in the ICU, and asking if he thinks masks would have helped them.
DeSantis responds asking if she has any scientific data suggesting masks help children. The reporter didn’t, but only said that she knows they aren’t vaccinated.
DeSantis points out the obvious, that children aren’t eligible to get vaccinated and then slams the reporter for blaming the victims for getting COVID:
Right. Well they’re not eligible for the vaccination… So you’re blaming the kids saying they weren’t wearing masks and so they’re in the ICU. With all due respect, I find that deplorable, to blame a victim who ends up being hospitalized. You don’t know their story; you don’t know what happened with that. And this has been a really negative thing throughout this whole thing, with some of these “experts” and some in the media. Somebody contracts a highly transmissible airborne virus and they’re viewed as having done something wrong.
That’s just not the way you do it. When people come in you treat them. We obviously have some people that are not vaccinatd who’ve been admitted to hospitals. Are you going to sit there and criticize or are we going to try and treat and try to help the folks.
You know, I’m just sick of the judgemental stuff on some of this. Nobody is trying to get ill here. There’s people that were hermits for a year and a half that wore six masks and did that and still contracted it ok? So let’s just be real here and let’s not indulge these things that somehow it’s their fault for not doing it.
BOOM! DeSantis is freaking sharp as a tack. She’s trying to attack him, but he turns it around, exposes what she’s really saying in her premise and destroys her for it. I think I’ve got an official man-crush now.
