Steven Crowder had Ted Cruz on his show and asked him why Republicans didn’t do anything to rein in Big Tech:
I challenged @TedCruz on Republicans doing NOTHING about Big Tech. He said…blame the Trump White House? pic.twitter.com/4yxeTObTsA

Cruz did blame the Trump White House, saying that while Trump understood the issue and wanted action, his administration was unable to execute a plan to rein in Big Tech. Cruz listed off a bunch of officials he spoke with laying out how to do this, but they just couldn’t do it.
But he didn’t just blame Trump’s administration, he also blamed feckless Republicans in Congress for being too uneasy to do anything on Big Tech.
And of course he noted the obvious, that not a single Democrat wants to do anything to rein in Big Tech because they want to use them to silence their opposition.
