Ted Cruz spoke with Fox and Friends this morning and explained why Democrats targeted a portion of his homeschooling provision in the tax bill:
Cruz explains that the objection Democrats made was over homeschoolers being allowed to deduct their homeschooling costs from their taxes, and he called it shameful.
However, as he points out, most of the provision is still in the bill and he calls it the most far reaching federal school choice legislation ever passed. He elaborated on what that means in the interview.
