Ted Cruz was recently doing a campaign rally at a pizza place in Texas when he was interrupted by a Beto heckler. Cruz started to talk about the second amendment when someone yelled out “Come and take it!”. The Beto heckler responded “Oh we will!” and that’s when Cruz saw the opportunity and launched Cruz missile at the guy and got a huge ovation.

Cruz responded to the Beto comment “Oh we will!” this way:
“Ok. Alright. If you want the exchange of the entire election on the second amendment: Come and take it!. And the Beto O’Rourke supporter screams oh we will!.
If you want to sum this entire election up, that’s their approach, they want to come and take it. And the question is, is Texas going to stand up and defend our freedom?”
And that’s the moment when Cruz got huge applause by his listeners.
He went on to point out that this is exactly what O’Rourke believes and how proud he is of it.
