Ted Cruz is out with a powerful new ad hammering Beto O’Rourke for his recent viral speech in which he supports protesting during the National Anthem.

In the ad, Cruz highlights Vietnam Veteran Tim Lee who lost both legs after stepping on a landmine and is unable to stand for the National Anthem. In the video, Lee says that he gave his two legs for this country and he expects us to stand for him when the National Anthem is being played.
Before the ad came out late last night, Cruz was tweeting yesterday about Tim Lee:
