WATCH: Ted Cruz takes own Jorge Ramos over suggesting Trump is a racist

Ted Cruz walked up to Jorge Ramos today in El Paso and the first question out of his mouth is if Cruz thinks Trump is a racist.

Watch:

Cruz responds by telling Ramos that this isn’t a time for politics, but a time for unity, compassion, and healing, and suggests that’s what the people of El Paso and Texas want right now.

But Ramos doesn’t listen and immediately asks “don’t you think the president is at least partly responsible?” What a sick question, but that’s what are media is today. Anti-Trump, all the way.

Cruz simply responds that even though the Dayton shooter was a huge Bernie and Warren supporter, it would be wrong to blame them or their rhetoric for a mass shooting, making the point that it’s wrong to blame Trump for El Paso.

Ramos persists, but I’ll let you watch the video to see how Cruz ended the interview. Notice that Cruz just walks when he finishes his answer, knowing full well that if he had stayed Jorge was simply going to persist with his leftist narrative that Trump is a racist and responsible for the El Paso massacre.
