Ted Cruz was on with Fox News late last night and was asked to weigh in on Trump’s comments against birthright citizenship as well as an ad from Beto O’Rourke spouting lies about his positions.

Cruz tells Shannon Bream that Trump is right regarding the policy of birthright citizenship, that we should definitely not allow it to continue. He doesn’t necessarily take a position on which way is best to undo it, pointing out that either way would end up going to the courts to settle the issue.
Regarding Beto O’Rourke’s latest ad, Cruz points to undeniable proof from his legislative record that shows Beto is lying about where he stands on pre-existing conditions and healthcare overall. In short, Cruz supports them and even tried to pass a law that would have included them, as he explains to Bream.
