Joe Biden has decided to send cluster bombs to Ukraine because they are “running out of ammunition”.
But just last year his former press secretary said that Russia’s use of cluster bombs in Ukraine was a war crime:
According to what I’ve read cluster bombs have been banned under an international treaty signed by 123 countries, but that doesn’t include the US, Russia, and Ukraine. So while other countries consider it a war crime, we would not be among them.
Except the White House suggested last year that Russia’s use of them would be a war crime, so I guess that makes Joe Biden a war criminal for supplying them to Ukraine.
