TMZ managed to catch up with Rush Limbaugh after getting the Medal of Freedom last night and it’s simply a great video:
When asked how he feels about getting the Medal of Freedom, Rush replied “I’m in a state of disbelief! I’m honored as I can be by it.”
Rush said he’s doing great, adding “who could not be doing great on a night like this.”
When asked if it was everything he thought, Rush said “Oh I didn’t think – that’s the thing, I’m still in a state of disbelief about it.”
“But I’m accepting it!”, Limbaugh added, “I’ll take it!”
I’m glad he said that because I’ve seen people like AOC claiming that Rush’s surprised look at the SOTU was fake. But clearly his people intentionally left him in the dark on this so they could surprise him.
