WATCH: Tom Arnold gets a visit by the Secret Service over his despicable anti-Trump tweets

The Secret Service paid Tom Arnold a visit in October after he let fly some despicable anti-Trump tweets – tweets went far beyond the line and that the Secret Service worried could incite someone.

Watch:

Arnold released this statement yesterday where he’s being an a-hole about it and trying to turn it around on Trump:

Here’s more from The DC:

Secret Service agents visited comedian and actor Tom Arnold’s home last month to question him about his anti-Trump tweets, one of which read, “I say put up or shut up @realDonaldTrump Me vs You. For America. First body slam wins. Any Rally. Any Time. Between now & the midterms,” on Oct. 19.

The president did not apparently reply to the challenge.

Arnold went one further, pasting the outrageous Photoshopped pic of comedian Kathy Griffin, holding what appears to be a model of Trump’s detached head, with the caption: “Next time Kathy won’t be holding his fake head!”

I remember the good old days when the news media would have flogged someone like Tom Arnold for saying something this threatening about the president. They’ve certainly flogged celebrities for less. If Arnold had tweeted this about Obama, he would have lost everything and never worked in Hollywood again. He would have gotten the Roseanne treatment.

But instead people like Arnold, and many others, are left alone when they tweet such horrific message about Trump. It’s totally okay to cross these lines when you’re part of the media-supported resistance, but go against a president they like and they’ll give you there will be hell to pay.
