Winsome Sears referred to a transgender pretender in the state senate by his actual gender and he got so mad he stormed out of the room.
According to Greg Price, the senate went into two recesses after this.

According this WVTF Radio Bureau chief, Sears had originally refused to apologize. But the senate froze and refused to get back to business so after two recesses she finally apologized to get things moving again:
"We are all equal under the law… 🚨I apologize🚨… and I would hope everyone would understand there's no intent to offend." – @WinsomeSears after two recesses, reportedly after she wouldn't apologize.
