WATCH: Man who saved Texas church from active shooter tells his amazing story at NRA!

During Trump’s speech at the NRA convention today, he invited Steve Willeford, the Sutherland Springs man responsible for taking down a church shooter back in 2017, to come up and tell his heroic story. And it’s amazing.

Watch (it’s cued up to begin at 2:27:24):

After hearing that story, one thing is quite clear – this man has some serious gonads.

He never retreated. He never backed down in any way. And he never let up until the monster was stopped.

He put his own life in danger to save those of his friends.

And this is important because he was completely aware of the fact that he might die. In his speech he said he gave his daughter busy work to do because he didn’t want her to go over to the church, especially in the event that he didn’t make it.

Now that’s a hero. And I salute him with all my heart.
