BillO asked Trump tonight about this fiasco he’s caused by attacking Judge Curiel on the basis of his heritage. And about the only thing he got out of Trump is that he now says he really doesn’t care if the judge is Mexican.

Ok, first of all, the judge isn’t Mexican. He’s American. His heritage is from Mexico. So I think even this Trump statement is dumb.
But even so, how softball were those questions? I mean, he asked Trump if he regretted it and Trump never answered the question. BillO just let Trump blather away about the lawsuit and the judge being unfair to him, but he never really pinned him down on the race thing.
I think BillO went easy on Trump to ensure he would keep coming on his show — or Trump would keep drinking milkshakes with him at baseball games.
