This morning Trump stopped and spoke to a press gaggle about the Las Vegas shooting. He praised the police and first responders, saying how it was a miracle they responded so quickly:

Trump also deflected questions about gun control, saying we’d be talking about gun laws as time goes by. I don’t think that was an ominous suggestion indicating that Trump wants gun control. I think he’s simply trying to be presidential and not engage the media on this controversial topic until more time passes, given how horrible the shooting was and how many are in the midsts of grief right now.
