President Trump said this morning on Fox and Friends that he plans on nominating a Supreme Court judge to replace Justice Ginsburg by the end of the week:

The president indicates that, out of respect, he wants to wait until after the funeral service for Ginsburg before making his nomination.
Trump also suggests doubt as to whether Ginsburg’s reported deathbed wish about the installation of a judge to replace her is even real, saying he believes it could have been written by Schumer, Pelosi or even shifty Schiff:

I don’t blame Trump for questioning it, especially in this hyperpartisan environment. But even if she did say it, Trump notes that the bottom line is that he won the election and has an obligation to do what’s right and nominate someone.
