WATCH: Trump says story about sending 120k troops to the Middle East is FAKE NEWS, but…

Today Trump was asked about this story that the media has been hyperventilating over for the last 24 hours, that Trump is making preparations to send 120k troops to the Middle East in the event that becomes necessary:

Trump called the reporting fake news, but then he said:

Now would I do that? Absolutely! But we have not planned for that. Hopefully we’re not going to have to plan for that. And if we did that we’d send a hell of a lot more troops than that.

I love that answer, LOL!

He also made sure to call the New York Times ‘fake news’ before moving on.

Consider this an open thread for tonight. And here’s a really cute Dodo video you’ll enjoy:

    1. I haven’t seen John Wick movies…but I am interested in going to see this. Mainly because its been forever since I saw a good action movie.

    2. I’ll have to watch the first one again. I seem to remember that it was pretty good.

  2. I like how he talks to everyone like a regular person and not with measured political speak. Yeah, sometimes it gives the left ammo but he’s being himself.

Oh, John: all the weaponized assets you sent my way [Joseph Mifsud, Alexander Downer, Stefan Halper] are all being outed from London, Rome and Canberra. Those governments are now actively cooperating with the Trump administration and have flipped on you. Your role will be exposed

  4. Stare decisis is no longer a valid determination if the previous ruling was unconstitutional.

    Roe v wade….
    Obergefell v hodges….

    I am looking at you.

  5. Dern! You need to post a Kleenex Alert! Loved the story of the dogs. Very uplifting. I’m so glad you posts these sorts of stories for us to enjoy. ^5

  6. We have a “Conservative” talk radio station here in the Atlanta area – it’s a fantastic alternative to having to listen to the pompous Rush Limbaugh bloviate. Pretty much everyone on that station has been a solid patriot and spoke out against the dumbasses of The Left. And many of the bits were hilarious – especially by the Kimmer. However, it appears this station is removing some of my favorite people. WHY? Too conservative? Ticks me off so much!

  7. You have no tariff to pay whatsoever if you’re in business – all you have to do is build or make your product in the United States of America.

This really makes me want to hit an orange pinata with a 2×4.

You know, if he said it with any indication that he was REALLY going to take on the anti-capitalist measures that have been effected in this nation since the New Deal, which makes buying goods produced here just as cost-ineffective as buying foreign goods saddled with tariffs, that might be one thing. But he doesn’t do that. Sure, a few token showpieces that don’t really affect much – but going after the sacred cows? Minimum wages, unions, the environmental lobby, etc? His hands are too small for that.

        1. @dinodoc Is that a reference to Avengers? I had to look it up and that’s what I found. I don’t watch many of those movies. If that’s the reference, I hear ya. Nothing can kill John Wick….and don’t screw with his dog.

      1. Do yourself a favor and watch the first one but have some tissues handy for the beginning. It probably won’t be needed to understand 3 but it’s just that good.
