Trump just gave a statement warning governors that if they don’t open up churches this weekend, which he is now deeming as essential, that he will override them and reopen the churches himself:
Pres Trump announces he's designating all Houses of Worship as places that provide "essential services" and calls on all Governors to allow them to open now. "If they don't do it, I will override the Governors," says the president in brief statement. Takes no questions. pic.twitter.com/5R3ODc4B2W

Trump doesn’t explain how he’ll override them in his forceful statement, just that he will.
There are still governors and mayors who believe it’s too early to reopen churches, but it appears that’s all about to change.
I should note that if you blinked you would have missed Trump. Right after Trump gave his short statement, he left and Kayleigh McEnany took over the briefing.
