Trump has now weighed in on the new border deal. He says he’s still studying it, but so far he’s not happy with it:

Trump says he’s adding to the deal, whatever that means. If he adds to the deal though, won’t it likely kill the deal?
Democrats clearly won’t budge much on giving him much wall money, so it looks like he’s gonna have to use funding outside of Congress. Which they’d probably love so they could call it an illegal wall, etc.
What I would hope is that he’d reject this deal, send Congress back to the drawing board and see what else they can come up with, as they have until Friday to avoid another government shutdown. Trump needs to use every ounce of leverage he can get, which means letting the government shutdown again if Congress won’t budge.
