WATCH: Trump’s doctor gives an update on his condition, takes questions from hostile press

President Trump’s doctor and team just gave an update on his condition in front of Walter Reed and then took questions from a hostile press.

Watch:

After Connelly reveals that Trump is doing very well and will continue his last two doses of Remdesivir at the White House, the media immediately starts asking how is it safe for Trump to return to the White House, as if these doctors aren’t doing their job or are doing something unsafe. For example:

“How is it safe for him to drive around in a cloth mask yesterday? And how is it safe for him to return to the White House where there have been so many cases? How is any of this safe?”

Connelly reveals that the Secret Service agents are all around him in the hospital wearing PPE to protect them from the virus, just as they were in the motorcade. He suggested it was essentially the same environment.

One reporter didn’t like it when Connelly wouldn’t reveal specifics about Trump’s lung scans, but Connelly said he’s prohibited by HIPAA from revealing that kind of information.

Multiple reporters asked about Trump’s last negative scan, which Connelly wouldn’t get into. Listening to these questions, it’s almost like these reporters think this is all one big charade by the doctors covering for Trump or something. It’s really amazing.
