WATCH: Turns out Biden is trying to have it both ways on defunding the police…

Biden was asked today by CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell if he supported defunding the police:

Here’s what Biden said:

No, I don’t support defunding the police. I support conditioning federal aid to police based on whether or not they meet certain basic standards of decency and honorableness and in fact are able to demonstrate they can protect the community and everybody in the community.

So Biden doesn’t support defunding the police, but he does support conditionally barring federal aid to police departments which, unless I’m mistaken, is the same as defunding the police.

Unless of course they can prove they are honorable and decent, whatever in the heck that means. Honestly, I’ve no idea what Biden is talking about here. This is a bunch of political mumbo jumbo. He’s using such generic and vague language that he can later define it to mean whatever he wants it to mean.

I think he’s trying to have his cake and eat it to, which isn’t going to work for these radicals on the streets wanting to defund police departments across the country. You are either with them or against them.
