Here’s more from Daily Mail:

A woman broke into an anti-COVID mandate version of the Mariah Carey holiday classic ‘All I want for Christmas’ during a California board meeting.

The singer, who identified herself as ‘Bridgette’ took to the microphone during a San Diego County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday to oppose the extension of a local health emergency order to combat COVID-19, which the board ended up approving 3-2.

But among the members of the public who opposed the order Bridgette stood out as she put on a Santa hat and pulled out her cellphone. She then played the beat of Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas’, but changed up the lyrics to match her anti-mandate feelings.

‘I don’t want a lot for Christmas, just body autonomy,’ she started off. ‘I don’t care about the variants because of natural immunity.’

‘I just want my freedom now, the Constitution will show us how,’ she continued, off-key. ‘Make my dreams come true, End the state of emergency and acknowledge early treatment too.’

The song went on with lyrics about experimental treatments against COVID-19 and her opposition to masks.

‘Ivermectin not just horse paste, and hydroxychloroquine, Vitamin C and Vitamin D, and the Zinc. I won’t wear a useless mask, I don’t need to stay at home. And my kids should go to school, we don’t need to be alone,’ she sang.

‘I just want my freedom now, the constitution will show us how,’ She ended her performance. ‘Make my dreams come true. Baby end the emergency, let’s have a happy holiday everybody!’

Her minute and a half performance was met with cheers before someone else took to the podium to express his opposition to the measure, but without singing.

While this lady isn’t a good singer, she didn’t let that stop her from really getting into the song in order to get her message out. It was actually pretty funny and I would have absolutely cheered for her if I’d been in the room.

Of course I’m sure her protest will fall onto mostly deaf ears, especially in the socialist utopia of California.

Go ahead and use this as an open thread…
