Russian agent Julian Assange visited Bill Maher’s show to justify his in-kind hacking contributions to Trump’s campaign while denying Putin is behind it all, and to prove it he said they were “working on” hacking Trump’s emails.

Everyone is focusing on that part where he jokes about the taxes in order to deflect from answering the question, but it’s worth noting that Maher straight out accuses him of working for Putin earlier in the video. Instead of denying it, he attacks Maher for making a million dollar contribution to Hillary forces in 2008 that he says he found in “our files.” Maher rightly points out that he didn’t need to hack anything for that contribution because it was public – but Assange was completely ignoring the question…
