WH Economic Director SCHOOLED ABC Jon Karl on Trump’s ‘drug war’ with Canada, Mexico vs Reciprocal Tariffs

The White House National Economic Director, Kevin Hassett, schooled ABC’s Jonathan Karl yesterday how President Trump’s ‘drug war’ with Mexico and Canada differs from his ‘reciprocal tariffs’ policy aimed at fairness with other counties.

Hassett also dispelled the myth, put forth by Karl, that Canada is not a large source of fentanyl coming into the country, saying there are fentanyl labs in Canada and the Mexican drug cartels are operating in Canada too.
