White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tried to rewrite history today, blaming Trump for all the pandemic school closures.
She claims that Biden and Democrats reopened schools with the first six months of Biden’s presidency.

I don’t know about you, but I remember this a little differently. Demcrats in cities all around the country were pushing school closures hard, as well as restricting restaruants and other public places to only those who were double vaxxed.
Karine acts as thought Democrats were the heroes here and Republicans wanted to keep schools closed, but that’s the opposite of the truth.
Tom Elliot has put together a Twitter thread exposing how prominent Democrats, including Biden, wanted to keep schools closed:

There you have it. It wasn’t Republicans fighting to keep schools closed, it was Joe Biden and his Democrat supporters.
But I’m sure the media won’t hold Karine accountable for lying about it.
