What did they expect? Netflix cancellations SKYROCKET ‘Nearly EIGHTFOLD’ after ‘Cuties’ debacle

Netflix may have their weirdo creepy defenders among liberals and Democrats over the “Cuties” controversy, but that isn’t helping their bottom line. Turns out sexualizing children for profit isn’t that profitable.

Research firm YipitData has the stats, and they say that the fallout over the horrific portrayal of children “twerking” and worse has resulted in a MASSIVE spike in subscription cancellations.

From Variety, via The Daily Wire:

Netflix released the movie on Sept. 9, followed quickly by a campaign by critics urging subscribers to #CancelNetflix. Three days later, cancellations increased to eight times the daily averages recorded in August, Variety reported.

“With the #CancelNetflix hashtag continuing to trend on social media, it is possible elevated churn could continue in the coming days, according to the firm,” Variety wrote, citing data from research company YipitData.

Things might get worse for Netflix. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is urging the Department of Justice to launch an investigation into Netflix’s involvement with the movie.

What is also making things worse for Netflix are the company’s defenders in the struggle to mainstream child exploitation.

This lady, for example, says people aren’t really upset about the sexualization of children, but instead are upset at “youthful exploration” because the actors aren’t white.

Seriously. She calls borderline pedophile porn “exploration” and says only racists won’t like it. Who the heck is the audience for that trash?

Not Netflix subscribers, obviously. And don’t even ask about the op-eds out there. They’re almost as filthy as the movie and we ain’t gonna link to them in this post.

Obviously what the New York values, coastal elite, Hollywood pervocracy want Americans to accept is what Americans aren’t willing to accept. And Netflix is finding that out the hard way right now. Sure, things might even out with the public’s short attention span and shorter memory, but it’s a backlash anyhow and sure as heck one they won’t be able to ignore.
