What happens when a street preacher goes to a Seattle pride event? It ain’t good…

A street preacher went to a Seattle pride event over the weekend and quickly drew the attention of the alphabet mob.

I don’t know about you but my first reaction is that this street preacher is in hell. Really, the only thing missing is the fire and gnashing of teeth.

Seriously though, I don’t know why anyone would put themselves through something like this. While Jesus does call us to suffer for Him, I really don’t think this is what He means. It’s one thing to be persecuted by those who hate you or those in authority over you. But to walk into a hungry lion’s den like this would, in my opinion, require a serious prompting from the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, I’d just stick with feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, being kind to the stranger and caring for this sick and imprisoned.
