WHERE’S THE LIE?! Two-time Sportscaster of the Year ‘permanently suspended’ for using ACCURATE phrase

North Carolina State football play-by-play announcer Gary Hahn was immediately, indefinitely suspended on Friday for a comment he made on the air that reflected reality accurately using an appropriate and correct term that was literally true.

As happens during any sport, the announcers periodically update you on other games taking place around the country. Hahn was calling a Wolfpack game and took a moment to mention the Sun Bowl down in El Paso, Texas.

Here’s what he said.

“Now to the Sun Bowl. Amongst all the illegal aliens down in El Paso, it’s UCLA 14 and Pittsburgh 6.”

And that was it. Hahn works for Learfield Communications, which has the rights to the school’s broadcasts.

“Learfield has suspended Wolfpack Sports Network play-by-play announcer Gary Hahn from his agreement indefinitely following comments made during today’s Duke’s Mayo Bowl radio broadcast,” reads a Wolfpack Sports Properties statement.

And this, from the Charlotte Observer, will make you sick.

Hahn, the North Carolina Sportscaster of the Year in 2011 and 2020, has been the voice of N.C. State football and men’s basketball since 1991.

So here’s the question:

EXACTLY!

We all know what happened. Some woke crybabies called to tattle and whine and now he’s canceled.

Remember when the United States existed?
