CNN, MSNBC, and most of the major liberal media outlets ran months and months of stories about how the very act of voting is in peril, how Republicans were planning to steal this election and all future elections permanently, how they made it difficult to impossible for Black Americans to vote so that White Republicans could win.
And then election day rolled around and the reporters were all over the state and at every polling place asking people questions and doing exit polling and …

Think about it: a big chunk of America was told there’s a voting rights crisis in Georgia analogous to Jim Crow. And why is there so little follow up reporting on that crisis now that the election is done?

It’s actually stunning when you think about it. They didn’t ask how hard it was to vote? If anyone who turned out felt they’d been discouraged, driven away, or intimidated? If it was too confusing or difficult? WHY NOT?
They spent months saying both that Republicans would steal the election, and that nobody should ever say anyone is going to steal an election.
And now there’s no follow-up on either thing. Why?
You know why.
And while we’re at it, there were weird or bad things that happened with the process itself in several states. There could be a lot of reasons. But if you ask about certain reasons you’re a conspiracy theorist.
BUT if the parties were reversed, it would be big news on every network, and they have proven this time and again, including during this election. They will cover any story, no matter how wild a conspiracy theory it is, if the supposed victim is a Democrat.
As I’ve said before, this kind of double standard cannot last.
