Joe Biden really doesn’t want to go to East Palestine where the toxic train derailment happened a month ago.
He said last week that he was planning to go there ‘at some point’ but the White House is now saying there’s nothing on the books and there’s no urgency.
Here’s the reporting from NBC:

Because he doesn’t want to go to a place where Trump won by a landslide. There is nothing to be gained in his eyes, politically speaking, so he doesn’t really care.
He’d hear a lot of complaining and be asked tough questions and, well, he’s just not interested in that if it doesn’t get him anything.
Biden isn’t the president of the entire country, just the parts that voted for him. That’s exactly what this tells us about him.
