This is very interesting – White House legislative director Marc Short won’t answer if Trump still backs Roy Moore, but says that if he didn’t think the allegations were credible, you would have seen him campaigning for Moore in Alabama.

As far as I know that’s the first break from the White House showing that Trump might not be backing Moore – up until now he’s been pretty quiet. ON the other hand, it may be Short just doing what is in the president’s best interests, and not actually doing what Trump told him.
