The anonymous NY Times article has certainly had an effect on the White House, with Trump decrying the deep state swamper and both Pence and Pompeo saying that it wasn’t them who wrote the article.
Well now the White House has put out the phone number of the New York Times Opinion Desk, via Sarah Sanders Press Secretary Twitter account, and has encouraged people to call the number if they want to know who the ‘anonymous coward’ is:

Well, that’s one way to put pressure on the New York Times. Who knows, it might actually work. Heh. Doubt it.
Trump tweeted late last night and this morning on this anonymous senior admin official:
Does the so-called “Senior Administration Official” really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source? If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!

I’m draining the Swamp, and the Swamp is trying to fight back. Don’t worry, we will win!

The Deep State and the Left, and their vehicle, the Fake News Media, are going Crazy - & they don’t know what to do. The Economy is booming like never before, Jobs are at Historic Highs, soon TWO Supreme Court Justices & maybe Declassification to find Additional Corruption. Wow!

There’s no doubt that the administration is actively trying to figure out who this person is. Perhaps if Session’s can figure it out and expose the person, Trump might cut him a break on some of the insults and attacks.
