COVID misinformation is a big deal to the Biden White House these days, with them actually admitting to flagging posts for social media companies to ban. But last night Biden spewed a little misinformation of his own.
A White House reporter (and not the one you’re thinking about) actually asked Jen Psaki today why Joe Biden was lied about vaccines last night at the CNN town hall when he said that people would not get sick if they get the vaccine:
REPORTER: "Last night the president said:
'You're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.'
Why did he say that when that is not what the science says?" pic.twitter.com/bpFmJ2zA3n

The NBC reporter asked “Last night the president said: ‘You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations’. Why did he say that when that is not what the science says?”
Ok the reporter didn’t characterize it as a ‘lie’, but that’s essentially what she was saying when she said he made a claim about vaccines that goes against ‘what the science says’.
Psaki spun hard for Biden, suggesting the number of people getting sick with the vaccine is VERY LOW and so it didn’t matter that Biden spewed misinformation last night because he was almost right. Or something.
