Whitehouse grills Alabama AG about Biden being the president at SCOTUS nominee hearing

Conspiracy theorist Sheldon Whitehouse took time out of his questioning today to aim one of his questions at the Alabama AG, who was there to oppose the nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.

Whitehouse wanted Alabama AG Steve Marshall to say that Biden was the duly elected President of the United States:

Whitehouse kept pushing Marshall to say that Biden is the ‘duly elected and lawfully serving’, but Marshall would only say that Biden is the President of the United States.

It was highly inappropriate, but no more inappropriate than his questioning of Marshall about January 6th right before this:

The hearing is supposed to be about Jackson’s nomination. But since everything is up for grabs, perhaps someone should ask Whitehouse again about his membership at an all-white beach club.
