Gov. Gretchen Whitmer was the target of a disgusting militia plot to kidnap and assassinate her, and overthrow the government of the state, according to the FBI. A horrible, terrible moment in American politics, but one that could perhaps be a point for people to come together in rejection of violence and hate.
Instead, in a hate-filled, bilious presser, Whitmer took the opportunity to rant and rave and lie about Trump, and claim that that he is basically behind the whole thing. You could say she incited people against him. That is, you could if you were going by the media’s and Whitmer’s logic here.
That’s how it works, right? You attack an opponent you’re inciting violence? Then Whitmer is trying to get a plot started to kidnap and assassinate Trump. I’m just using her logic.
Her ugly presser using this moment as a bludgeon for her own political gain, and Biden’s, was exactly the kind of thing that gets her attacked in the first place. You can’t debate Kamala or its mansplaining, and you can’t criticize Meg or you’re basically part of the plot concocted by idiot dirtbags to kidnap her.

Jason Miller went on Fox shortly after and did not withhold his fire at the hateful presser. He gave it the response it deserves.

Because that IS what this deserves. Being read the riot act. NOT a horrific plot to murder her by a bunch of backward savage morons. That’s how this country works: You argue with the opponent. You debate them (if you’re allowed to), and you show how you’re an alternative to them at the ballot.
YOU DON’T TRY TO MURDER THEM, YOU SCUMBAGS.
You see, you can be against both the scumbag would-be assassins AND the opportunistic and despicable playing of political games with them by Democrats. That’s a reasonable thing. It’s the only actually reasonable thing.
