Citizens in Russia are information deprived during this war, which Putin has insisted is not a war. They see carefully staged appearances by Putin at events, including meeting with a bunch of (lovely) Russian stewardesses, where he spreads his propaganda. International media are being ejected or are leaving willingly like CNN did.
Well hackers with Anonymous have interrupted Russian state propaganda programming and filled it with footage of what’s ACTUALLY happening, according to the Kyiv independent, which has been pretty solid through the invasion on getting stories right.
⚡️Hacking group Anonymous interrupts Russian state TV programs with footage of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and an anti-war message.
It claims to have accessed TV channels “Russia 24”, “Channel 1”, “Moscow 24”, & streaming services Wink and Ivi.

That’s kind of incredible if you ask me.
In the coming cyber civil war, I hope there’s plenty of hackers on the right side of things. (And I think there will be.)
